Juneta is a small skin, brow and makeup atelier on Mott Street. We see fewer clients a day than most studios, on purpose — because good skin work starts with paying attention.

One chair, one daylight lamp, and a lot of patience.
Juneta Vale trained as an esthetician in Copenhagen and Seoul, then spent eight years in busy Manhattan spas watching treatments get faster and skin get angrier. In 2016 she opened a single treatment room on Mott Street with one rule: read the skin before you touch it.
Ten years later the atelier has three rooms and nine people, but the rule hasn’t changed. Every visit still begins under a daylight lamp, and every client still leaves with a routine written by hand.
